Frequently Asked Questions

 

Booking

A non refundable £100 deposit is needed to confirm you booking. Final payment needs to be paid 6 weeks before your holiday commences. We will send a reminder 7 days prior to the date it is due and this will include a secure payment link for you to pay the balance. If your holiday is less than six weeks away at the time of booking, the full payment will be required to secure the booking. You can pay for your holiday by bank transfer. 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your holiday, please inform us in writing as soon as possible. You can find full details of our cancellation policy in our booking terms and conditions.

We do not offer travel insurance at Brickley Wood. We highly recommend that all of our guests purchase travel insurance once they have confirmed their booking.

Check-in and check-out

Our check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 10am. We offer a self check-in service. Your lodge will be unlocked upon arrival and you key will be hanging on a hook in the entrance. We ask that you leave the key in the door on the day of your departure.

Parking

Parking is situated alongside your lodge. We do have allocated visitor parking if you have more than one car. There is a 5mph speed limit to adhere to on all parts of the property.

Accessibility

Our lodges are all single level, entrance to the property is via three steps. Access onto the decking space can also be accessed from outside by one large step.

What's included

We provide a welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar and milk to start you off. There is a hairdryer in each bedroom, and we provide a complimentary toilet roll for each bathroom. As we are self-catering, we do recommend you do a shop for the remainder of your stay. It is possible for you to arrange a  supermarket delivery to be delivered to you after your arrival.

Bedding/Towels

Bed linen, towels, dressing gowns and slippers are provided for you.

Kitchen appliances and Kitchen ware

As a self catering property, we have taken great care to ensure that all appliances and a good selection of kitchen ware have been provided for you.

Cot/Highchair

We do offer limited travel cots and highchairs, free of charge. These are offered on a first come, first serve basis and will be left in the lodge for your arrival. If you have requested a travel cot please bring your own cot linen with you.

Private Barbeque areas

A Charcoal BBQ is provided for you in Avocet Lodge. Charcoal is not supplied by us. This can be purchased from the local shop.

A Gas BBQ is provided for you in Ingol Lodge. Gas will be supplied for you.

Pets

I’m afraid pets are currently not permitted in our lodges. In the future, we do intend on designing some lodges with our four legged friends in mind.

Wifi

Our Lodges all benefit from Wi-FI, passwords can be found in the welcome book upon arrival.

Smoking

Smoking is not prohibited on our premises, we thank you for respecting this.

Food Shops

Our closest food shop is Dersingham Spar, a five minutes drive or twenty minute walk from Brickley Wood. We also have Co-ops in both neighbouring villages with Lidl and Tesco’s being within a ten mile radius.
