Our Story
Hall Farm and Brickley Wood started from very humble beginnings. Gerald and Rosslyn brought Hall Farm House as a derelict project in 1989. Six months later with the purchase of farm land, Brickley Wood and unused farm buildings, the hard work began.
The house, farm and business diversification evolved to what it is today with 2 small but thriving touring caravan sites. The old buildings being utilised for storage and todays dream of bespoke Holiday Lodges. The result is a peaceful and tranquil setting enjoyed by various visitors and the abundant wildlife that lives here.
Gerald and Rosslyn have now taken a back seat and have handed over the reins to son Mark and partner Charlene, who carried the dream of Brickley Wood Lodges into reality, ready for the next chapter to begin.
A note from Mark and Charlene
Our excitement around expanding into luxury holiday accommodation has been palpable for a long time, and with the first two of seven lodges arriving in 2020 and officially opening in June 2021, it has definitely been worth the wait.
We were very committed in finding Eco lodges that fit naturally into their surroundings and didn’t impact on the environment, luckily we were able to find a UK based company that was aligned with our own ethics. We just love the aesthetics of our cedar clad lodges, with there interesting lines and multi toned wood merging sympathetically into the surroundings area. Carefully designed to give each, there own unique personality, we aim to offer our guests something special. We are committed to continuing the conservation of Brickley Wood and look forward to encouraging the ever growing presence of birds, wildlife and visitors to our home.
We hope that holidaying with us, will allow you to make many special memories.
Best Wishes,
Mark and Charlene
